The Egypt's state grain buyer, the General Authority for Supply Commodities (GASC) on Tuesday, October 29, bought 235,000 MT of wheat from Ukraine (115 TMT), France (60 TMT) and Romania (60 TMT) for December 5-15 delivery:

  • 55,000 MT of Ukrainian wheat from Olam at 234.55 $/mt c&f (217.45 fob+17.1 freight);
  • 60,000 MT of Romanian wheat from Cargill at 235.4 $/mt c&f (220.75 fob+14.65 freight);
  • 60,000 MT of French wheat from Glencore at 235.85 $/mt c&f (214.5 fob+21.35 freight);
  • 60,000 MT of Ukrainian wheat from Louis Dreyfus at 236.16 $/mt c&f (219.5 fob+16.66 freight).

So GASC has bought so far a total 3,605,000 MT of wheat (1.82 MMT from Russia, 765,000 MT from Ukraine, 720,000 MT from Romania, and 300,000 MT from France) for supply in 2019/20 (July-June)
