- May 21 - South Korea's Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corp bought at least 36,000 MT of rice from the US and China for Oct-Nov arrival:

• 17,000 MT of Chinese rice purchased at 890.00 $/t
• 19,000 MT of US rice at 831.17-836.07 $/t

- Vietnam's Ag Min said country's Jan-May rice exports drop 11.4% on year to 2.41 MMT
