The Egypt's state grain buyer, the General Authority for Supply Commodities (GASC) on Wednesday, September 25, bought 300,000 MT of wheat from Russia (240,000 MT) and France (60,000 MT) for October 26-November 5 delivery:

  • 60,000 MT of Russian wheat from GrainExport at 212.87 $/mt c&f (197.75 fob+15.12 freight);
  • 60,000 MT of Russian wheat from Agro AST at 213.25 $/mt c&f (196.45 fob+16.8 freight);
  • 60,000 MT of Russian wheat from Posco International at 214.30 $/mt c&f (197.50 fob+16.8 freight);
  • 60,000 MT of Russian wheat from Posco International at 214.55 $/mt c&f (197.75 fob+16.8 freight);
  • 60,000 MT of French wheat from Glencore at 214.95 $/mt c&f (193.75 fob+21.2 freight).

So GASC has bought so far a total 2,610,000 MT of wheat (1.355 MMT from Russia, 660,000 MT from Romania, 475,000 MT from Ukraine and 120,000 MT from France) for supply in 2019/20 (July-June)
