The Egypt's state grain buyer, the General Authority for Supply Commodities (GASC) on Tuesday, August 6, bought 415,000 MT of wheat from Ukraine (115 TMT), Romania (60 TMT) and Russia (240 TMT) for September 5-15 delivery:

  • 60,000 MT of Ukrainian wheat from LDC at 217.27 $/mt c&f (200.17 fob+17.1 freight);
  • 60,000 MT of Russian wheat from Hakan at 217.37 $/mt c&f (203.9 fob+13.47 freight);
  • 55,000 MT of Ukrainian wheat from Hakan at 219.35 $/mt c&f (198.45 fob+20.9 freight);
  • 60,000 MT of Romanian wheat from ADM at 219.42 $/mt c&f (204.23 fob+15.19 freight);
  • 60,000 MT of Russian wheat from Solaris at 220.05 $/mt c&f (203.9 fob+16.15 freight);
  • 60,000 MT of Russian wheat from Posco at 220.05 $/mt c&f (203.9 fob+16.15 freight);
  • 60,000 MT of Russian wheat from Garant Logistics at 220.05 $/mt c&f (203.9 fob+16.15 freight)

So GASC has bought so far a total 1,485,000 MT of wheat (660,000 MT from Romania, 530,000 MT from Russia and 295,000 MT from Ukraine) for supply in 2019/20 (July-June).
