- Apr 3 - Saudi Arabia (GSFMO) seeks 715,000 tons of optional-origin hard wheat for delivery between June to August
- Algeria (OAIC) bought about 650,000 tons of optional-origin milling wheat for July shipment in a tender last week, more than the 450,000 tons initially reported
- A first cargo of French wheat for the Philippines in more than 12 years is due to load in the coming days
- There are concerns about warm, dry weather in US wheat belts
- Russian Prime Minister D.Medvedev has asked his ministers to submit proposals by mid-April on a possible extension of a wheat export tax from July 1, when the new 2015/16 marketing year begins
- Informa Economics estimated US 2015 wheat production at 2.144 billion bushels, including 1.497 billion bushels of winter wheat
- Weekly US wheat export sales data for week ended Mar 26 – 293,100 tons, incl. 162,100 tons for 2014/15 (expected 100,000-300,000 tons) and 131,000 tons for 2015/16 (expected 50,000-200,000 tons)
