- Mar 10 - Bangladesh tenders to buy 50,000 tons of wheat. Offers must remain valid until Mar 25

- Feb 25 - USDA announced 120,000 tons of US hard red winter wheat sold to Egypt for 2014/15 shipment

- Feb 24 - Egypt's GASC bought 290,000 tons of US hard red winter wheatat for April 15-25 delivery:

  • 120 KMT of US HRW from Cargill at 273.5 $/t c&f
  • 60 KMT of US HRW from Ameropa at 273.5 $/t c&f
  • 55 KMT of US HRW from Louis Dreyfus at 273.5 $/t c&f
  • 55 KMT of US HRW from Invivo at 271.44 $/t c&f

- Iraq cancelled an international tender to buy at least 50,000 tons of hard wheat. The tender had closed on Feb 15 and offers originally had to remain valid up to Feb 19. The offer deadline was first delayed until Feb 22 and then until Tuesday Feb 24

- Feb 24 - South Korea NOFI bought 65,000 tons of optional origin feed wheat at 221.85 $/t c&f + 1.50 $/t surcharge for each extra port unloading for August shipment

- Ukraine's Ag Min said Ukraine has exported 24.042 MMT of grain between July 1, 2014 – Feb 25, 2015 including wheat – 9.125 MMT, corn – 10.798 MMT and barley – 3.868 MMT

- Russia bought 365,155 tons of intervention grains between Sept 30, 2014 – Feb 25, 2015, including wheat – 159,975 tons, barley – 113,650 tons and rye – 91,530 tons

- Morocco expects to harvest record cereal crop this year - more than 10 MMT

CORN

- Feb 24 - South Korea NOFI bought up to 197,000 tons of optional origin corn at 203.9 $/t c&f + 1.50 $/t surcharge for each extra port unloading for September shipment

- SAGIS estimated S.Africa corn stocks at 4.037 MMT end January 2015 vs. 4.824 MMT at end Dec and 2.291 MMT at end Jan 2014

- SAGIS estimated S.Africa's May'14-Jan'15 corn exports at 1.93 MMT vs. 1.931 MMT a year ago

BARLEY

- Feb 24 - South Korea NOFI bought 10,500 tons of feed barley, likely from India, at 219.23 $/t c&f + 1.75 $/t surcharge for each extra port unloading for July shipment

¬- Feb 25 - Japan received no offers for SBS tender for 120,000 wheat and 200,000 barley

- Russian Prime Minister said he saw no need for now to impose export duties on barley, rye, and corn
