The Egypt's state grain buyer, the General Authority for Supply Commodities (GASC) on Thursday, July 21, in direct deals bought 760,000 MT of wheat from France (390,000 MT), Germany (30,000 MT), Lithuania (30,000 MT) and russia (310,000 MT):

  • 30,000 MT of German wheat from Egypt African at 403 $/mt EXW Damietta for August 1-31
  • 30,000 MT of Litvanian wheat from Egypt African at 403 $/mt EXW Damietta for August 1-31
  • 60,000 MT (2x30,000MT) of russian wheat from Aston at 403 $/mt c&f for August 5-15 shipment
  • 30,000 MT of russian wheat from Aston at 402.5 $/mt c&f for August 20-September 5 shipment
  • 60,000 MT of russian wheat from Viterra at 402.5 $/mt c&f for August 20-September 5 shipment
  • 60,000 MT of russian wheat from Cargill at 403 $/mt c&f for September 16-30 shipment
  • 40,000 MT of russian wheat from GTCS at 403 $/mt c&f for September 16-30 shipment
  • 60,000 MT (2x30,000MT) of russian wheat from OZK Trading at 403 $/mt c&f for September 16-30 shipment
  • 60,000 MT of French wheat from Cargill at 405 $/mt c&f for October 1-15 shipment
  • 60,000 MT of French wheat from Cargill at 403 $/mt c&f for October 16-31 shipment
  • 60,000 MT of French wheat from Soufflet at 403 $/mt c&f for October 16-31 shipment

GASC has bought so far a total 2,547,000 MT of wheat (540,000 MT from Romania, 910,000 MT from France, 874,000 MT from russia, 100,000 MT from Bulgaria, 93,000 MT from Germany and 30,000 MT from Lithuania) for supply in 2022/23 (July-June)
