The Egypt's state grain buyer, the General Authority for Supply Commodities (GASC) on Monday, July 4, privately bought 444,000 MT of wheat from France (170,000 MT), Romania (60,000 MT) and russia (214,000 MT). All at 416 $/mt c&f (cargo insurance covered by GASC). Some payments LC at sight, some 180 days:

  • 40,000 MT of russian wheat from GTCS for September 1-15 shipment
  • 37,000 MT of russian wheat from GTCS for September 1-15 shipment
  • 40,000 MT of russian wheat from GTCS for September 16-30 shipment
  • 37,000 MT of russian wheat from GTCS for September 16-30 shipment
  • 55,000 MT of French wheat from LDC for September 16-30 shipment
  • 60,000 MT of Romanian wheat from Agro Chirnogi for September 16-30 shipment
  • 60,000 MT of russian wheat from GTCS for October 1-15 shipment
  • 60,000 MT of French wheat from Viterra for October 1-20 shipment
  • 55,000 MT of French wheat from LDC for October 16-31 shipment

GASC has bought so far a total 1,724,000 MT of wheat (540,000 MT from Romania, 520,000 MT from France, 564,000 MT from russia and 100,000 MT from Bulgaria) for supply in 2022/23 (July-June)
