The Egypt's state grain buyer, the General Authority for Supply Commodities (GASC) on Wednesday, April 13, bought 350,000 MT of wheat from France (240,000 MT), Russia (60,000 MT) and Bulgaria (50,000 MT):

  • 50,000 MT of Bulgarian wheat from Cargill at 480.00 $/mt c&f (449.50 fob+30.50 freight) for May 20-31 shipment;
  • 60,000 MT of French wheat from Lecureur at 494.25 $/mt c&f (451.75 fob+42.50 freight) for May 20-31 shipment;
  • 120,000 MT of French wheat from Viterra at 494.25 $/mt c&f (451.75 fob+42.50 freight) for May 20-31 shipment;
  • 60,000 MT of French wheat from Soufflet at 494.25 $/mt c&f (451.75 fob+42.50 freight) for May 20-31 shipment;
  • 60,000 MT of Russian wheat from Aston at 460.00 $/mt c&f for Jun 1-15 arrival.

GASC has bought so far a total 4,775,000 MT of wheat (1,370,000 MT from Russia, 1,920,000 MT from Romania, 1,135,000 MT from Ukraine, 300,000 MT from France and 50,000 MT from Bulgaria) for supply in 2021/22 (July-June)
