The Egypt's state grain buyer, the General Authority for Supply Commodities (GASC) on Thursday, February 17, bought 180,000 MT of wheat from Romania for April 1-10:

  • 60,000 MT of Romanian wheat from Viterra at 338.55 $/mt c&f (318 fob+20.55 freight);
  • 60,000 MT of Romanian wheat from Al Dahra at 338.55 $/mt c&f (318 fob+20.55 freight);
  • 60,000 MT of Romanian wheat from ADM at 338.55 $/mt c&f (318 fob+20.55 freight).

GASC has bought so far a total 4,425,000 MT of wheat (1,310,000 MT from Russia, 1,920,000 MT from Romania, 1,135,000 MT from Ukraine and 60,000 MT from France) for supply in 2021/22 (July-June)
