The Egypt's state grain buyer, the General Authority for Supply Commodities (GASC) on Friday, January 28, bought 420,000 MT of wheat from Romania (120,000 MT), Russia (120,000 MT) and Ukraine (180,000 MT):

for March 5-15 shipment:

  • 60,000 MT of Ukrainian wheat from Nibulon at 346.89 $/mt c&f (326.00 fob+20.89 freight);
  • 60,000 MT of Romanian wheat from Ameropa at 349.40 $/mt c&f (329.65 fob+19.75 freight);
  • 60,000 MT of Russian wheat from Grainexport at 350.00 $/mt c&f (329.65 fob+20.35 freight).

for March 16-26 shipment:

  • 60,000 MT of Ukrainian wheat from Nibulon at 346.89 $/mt c&f (326.00 fob+20.89 freight);
  • 60,000 MT of Romanian wheat from CHS at 349.40 $/mt c&f (329.65 fob+19.75 freight);
  • 60,000 MT of Russian wheat from Grainexport at 349.55 $/mt c&f (329.20 fob+20.35 freight);
  • 60,000 MT of Ukrainian wheat from Inerco at 350.00 $/mt c&f (328.77 fob+21.23 freight).

GASC has bought so far a total 4,245,000 MT of wheat (1,310,000 MT from Russia, 1,740,000 MT from Romania, 1,135,000 MT from Ukraine and 60,000 MT from France) for supply in 2021/22 (July-June)
