The Egypt's state grain buyer, the General Authority for Supply Commodities (GASC) on Tuesday, April 6, bought 345,000 MT of wheat from Russia (290,000 MT) and Ukraine (55,000 MT) for August 1-10 shipment:
  • 60,000 MT of Russian wheat from Grain Export at 251.00 $/mt c&f (233 fob+18.00 freight);
  • 120,000 MT of Russian wheat from Agro AST at 252.00 $/mt c&f (234 fob+18.00 freight);
  • 55,000 MT of Ukrainian wheat from Olam at 252.15 $/mt c&f (232.90 fob+19.25 freight);
  • 110,000 MT of Russian wheat from GTCS at 252.75 $/mt c&f (234 fob+18.75 freight).
Traders said the following offers were submitted to GASC in the first round of the tender:
