The Egypt's state grain buyer, the General Authority for Supply Commodities (GASC) on Tuesday, December 15, bought 235,000 MT of wheat from Romania and Ukraine for Feb 1-15 shipment:
  • 60,000 MT of Ukrainian wheat from LDC at 282.31 $/mt c&f (268.98 fob+13.33 freight);
  • 60,000 MT of Romanian wheat from CHS at 283.33 $/mt c&f (270.96 fob+12.37 freight);
  • 60,000 MT of Romanian wheat from Ameropa at 283.33 $/mt c&f (270.96 fob+12.37 freight);
  • 55,000 MT of Ukrainian wheat from Olam at 283.33 $/mt c&f (268.98 fob+14.35 freight).
GASC has bought so far a total 4,624,000 MT of wheat (3,679,000 MT from Russia, 705,000 MT from Ukraine, 180,000 MT from Romania and 60,000 MT from Poland) for supply in 2020/21 (July-June)
