Egypt's GASC buys 170,000 T Ukrainian, Russian wheat Dec. 1, 2020
The Egypt's state grain buyer, the General Authority for Supply Commodities (GASC) on Tuesday, December 1, bought 170,000 MT of wheat from Russia and Ukraine for Jan 26-Feb 5 shipment:
- 60,000 MT of Ukrainian wheat from Nibulon at 274.85 $/mt c&f (262.50 fob+12.35 freight);
- 55,000 MT of Russian wheat from Cargill at 275.20 $/mt c&f (261.85 fob+13.35 freight);
- 55,000 MT of Russian wheat from GTCS at 275.70 $/mt c&f (262.35 fob+13.35 freight).
GASC has bought so far a total 4,389,000 MT of wheat (3,679,000 MT from Russia, 590,000 MT from Ukraine, 60,000 MT from Romania and 60,000 MT from Poland) for supply in 2020/21 (July-June).
