Egypt's GASC buys 175,000 T Russian wheat Nov. 26, 2020
The Egypt's state grain buyer, the General Authority for Supply Commodities (GASC) on Thursday, November 26, bought 175,000 MT of wheat from Russia for January 20-31 shipment:
- 55,000 MT of Russian wheat from GTCS at 274.80 $/mt c&f (261.00 fob+13.80 freight);
- 60,000 MT of Russian wheat from Posco at 275.15 $/mt c&f (262.35 fob+12.80 freight);
- 60,000 MT of Russian wheat from Agro AST at 275.40 $/mt c&f (262.60 fob+12.80 freight).
GASC has bought so far a total 4,219,000 MT of wheat (3,569,000 MT from Russia, 530,000 MT from Ukraine, 60,000 MT from Romania and 60,000 MT from Poland) for supply in 2020/21 (July-June).
Traders said the following offers were submitted to GASC in the first round of the tender:
- GTCS: 55,000 MT of Russian wheat at 261.00 $/mt fob
- Posco: 60,000 MT of Russian wheat at 262.80 $/mt fob
- Agro AST: 60,000 MT of Russian wheat at 262.90 $/mt fob
- Grain Export: 60,000 MT of Russian wheat at 264.00 $/mt fob
- Nibulon: 60,000 MT of Ukrainian wheat at 264.70 $/mt fob
- ADM: 55,000 MT of Russian wheat at 265.50 $/mt fob
- Cargill: 55,000 MT of Russian wheat at 266.00 $/mt fob
- Solaris: 60,000 MT of Russian wheat at 267.45 $/mt fob
- Ameropa: 60,000 MT of Romanian wheat at 268.79 $/mt fob
- Soufflet: 60,000 MT of French wheat at 269.75 $/mt fob
- LDC: 55,000 MT of Ukrainian wheat at 270.07 $/mt fob
- Glencore: 55,000 MT of Russian wheat at 270.86 $/mt fob
