The Egypt's state grain buyer, the General Authority for Supply Commodities (GASC) on Thursday, August 13, bought 415,000 MT of wheat from Russia for October 1-10 shipment:
  • 55,000 MT of Russian wheat from GTCS at 221.98 $/mt c&f (206.30 fob+15.68 freight);
  • 180,000 MT of Russian wheat from Solaris at 222.43 $/mt c&f (206.48 fob+15.95 freight);
  • 60,000 MT of Russian wheat from Posco at 222.90 $/mt c&f (206.95 fob+15.95 freight);
  • 60,000 MT of Russian wheat from Gemcorp at 222.95 $/mt c&f (207.00 fob+15.95 freight);
  • 60,000 MT of Russian wheat from Grain Export at 223.33 $/mt c&f (207.38 fob+15.95 freight).
GASC has bought so far a total 2,354,000 MT of wheat (1,764,000 MT from Russia, 530,000 MT from Ukraine and 60,000 MT from Romania) for supply in 2020/21 (July-June)
