The Egypt's state grain buyer, the General Authority for Supply Commodities (GASC) on Tuesday, July 28, bought 470,000 MT of wheat from Russia (350,000 MT) and Ukraine (120,000 MT) for Sept 1-10 shipment:

  • 120,000 MT of Russian wheat from Solaris at 228.05 $/mt c&f (215.10 fob+12.95 freight);
  • 60,000 MT of Russian wheat from Posco at 228.05 $/mt c&f (215.10 fob+12.95 freight);
  • 60,000 MT of Russian wheat from Grain Export at 228.05 $/mt c&f (215.10 fob+12.95 freight);
  • 60,000 MT of Ukrainian wheat from Louis Dreyfus at 228.87 $/mt c&f (215.12 fob+13.75 freight);
  • 60,000 MT of Ukrainian wheat from Nibulon at 228.87 $/mt c&f (217.50 fob+11.37 freight);
  • 55,000 MT of Russian wheat from Solaris at 229.00 $/mt c&f (215.10 fob+13.90 freight);
  • 55,000 MT of Russian wheat from GTCS at 229.05 $/mt c&f (215.10 fob+13.95 freight).

GASC has bought so far a total 1,409,000 MT of wheat (934,000 MT from Russia, 415,000 MT from Ukraine and 60,000 MT from Romania) for supply in 2020/21 (July-June)
