The Egypt's state grain buyer, the General Authority for Supply Commodities (GASC) on Thursday, February 11, bought 360,000 MT of wheat from Romania (180 TMT) and Russia (180 TMT) for March 21-31 delivery:

  • 180,000 MT (3x60,000 MT) of Romanian wheat from Ameropa at 239.50 $/mt c&f (227.90 fob+11.60 freight);
  • 120,000 MT (2x60,000 MT) of Russian wheat from Solaris at 239.25 $/mt c&f (227.50 fob+11.75 freight);
  • 60,000 MT of Russian wheat from Agro AST at 239.55 $/mt c&f (227.80 fob+11.75 freight).

So GASC has bought so far a total 5,975,000 MT of wheat (3.11 MMT from Russia, 1.14 MMT from Romania, 1.005 MMT from Ukraine, and 720,000 MT from France) for supply in 2019/20 (July-June)
