The Egypt's state grain buyer, the General Authority for Supply Commodities (GASC) on Tuesday, January 14, bought 240,000 MT of wheat from Russia (180 TMT) and Romania (60 TMT) for March 1-10 delivery:
  • 60,000 MT of Russian wheat from Posco at 248.85 $/mt c&f (235.30 fob+13.55 freight);
  • 60,000 MT of Russian wheat from Solaris at 249.37 $/mt c&f (235.82 fob+13.55 freight);
  • 60,000 MT of Romanian wheat from Ameropa at 249.87 $/mt c&f (236.97 fob+12.9 freight);
  • 60,000 MT of Russian wheat from Grain Export at 249.90 $/mt c&f (237.00 fob+12.9 freight).
So GASC has bought so far a total 5,435,000 MT of wheat (2.93 MMT from Russia, 1.005 MMT from Ukraine, 960,000 MT from Romania, and 540,000 MT from France) for supply in 2019/20 (July-June)
