The Egypt's state grain buyer, the General Authority for Supply Commodities (GASC) on Wednesday, January 8, bought 300,000 MT of wheat from Russia (120 TMT), Ukraine (60 TMT) and Romania (120 TMT) for February 18-29 delivery:

  • 60,000 MT of Russian wheat from Garant Logistics at 245.45 $/mt c&f (231.95 fob+13.5 freight);
  • 60,000 MT of Romanian wheat from Ameropa at 245.59 $/mt c&f (232.79 fob+12.8 freight);
  • 60,000 MT of Romanian wheat from Cofco at 245.59 $/mt c&f (232.79 fob+12.8 freight);
  • 60,000 MT of Ukrainian wheat from Dreyfus at 245.93 $/mt c&f (231.16 fob+14.77 freight);
  • 60,000 MT of Russian wheat from Grain Export at 245.98 $/mt c&f (232.48 fob+13.5 freight).
So GASC has bought so far a total 5,195,000 MT of wheat (2.75 MMT from Russia, 1.005 MMT from Ukraine, 900,000 MT from Romania, and 540,000 MT from France) for supply in 2019/20 (July-June)
