The Egypt's state grain buyer, the General Authority for Supply Commodities (GASC) on Thursday, November 14, bought 465,000 MT of wheat from Russia (345 TMT) and Ukraine (120 TMT) for January 5-15 delivery:

  • 55,000 MT of Russian wheat from Gemcorp at 231.98 $/mt c&f (217.46 fob+14.52 freight);
  • 55,000 MT of Russian wheat from Garant Logistics at 232.34 $/mt c&f (218.00 fob+14.34 freight);
  • 60,000 MT of Russian wheat from Posco Int. at 232.35 $/mt c&f (218.88 fob+13.47 freight);
  • 60,000 MT of Ukrainian wheat from LDC at 232.35 $/mt c&f (217.70 fob+14.65 freight);
  • 60,000 MT of Ukrainian wheat from Hakan at 232.35 $/mt c&f (215.63 fob+16.72 freight);
  • 120,000 MT of Russian wheat from Grain Export at 232.35 $/mt c&f (218.88 fob+13.47 freight);
  • 55,000 MT of Russian wheat from ADM at 232.35 $/mt c&f (217.83 fob+14.52 freight).

So GASC has bought so far a total 4,245,000 MT of wheat (2.22 MMT from Russia, 885,000 MT from Ukraine, 720,000 MT from Romania, and 420,000 MT from France) for supply in 2019/20 (July-June)
