Egypt's GASC buys 180,000 T Russian wheat Sept. 19, 2019
The Egypt's state grain buyer, the General Authority for Supply Commodities (GASC) on Wednesday, September 18, bought 180,000 MT of wheat from Russia for October 21-31 delivery:
- 60,000 MT of Russian wheat from Solaris at 210.73 $/mt c&f (194.13 fob+16.6 freight);
- 60,000 MT of Russian wheat from GrainExport at 211.1 $/mt c&f (194.5 fob+16.6 freight);
- 60,000 MT of Russian wheat from Solaris at 211.2 $/mt c&f (194.6 fob+16.6 freight).
GASC did not purchase any of the cargoes on offer for a second shipping period between Nov 1-10.
So GASC has bought so far a total 2,310,000 MT of wheat (1.115 MMT from Russia, 660,000 MT from Romania, 475,000 MT from Ukraine and 60,000 MT from France) for supply in 2019/20 (July-June)
