WHEAT

- Weekly US wheat export sales data for week ended April 25 totaled 419,500 MT, incl. 122,100 MT for 2018/19, below expectation (200-500 TMT) and 297,400 MT for 2019/20, within expectation (50-350 TMT). Export commitments for 2018/19 are running 8% ahead of year-ago

- Kazakh farmers planted 456,900 ha of spring cereals crops as of May 2 vs. 363,700 ha a year ago

- Weekly US soymeal export sales data for week ended April 25 of 95,700 MT, incl. 79,200 MT for 2018/19, well below expectations (150-375 TMT). Export commitments for 2018/19 are running 1% ahead of year-ago

- USDA estimated US March 2019 soybean crush for crude oil at 5.383 million short tons, a 10.2% increase from February, but below the last year level (5.465 mln tons in March 2018). Crude soyoil stocks rose to 1.894 billion lbs as of March 31 from 1.763 in January, but below the 2.08 bln lbs a year ago, while refined oil stocks were at 339.011 million lbs as of March 31 vs. 386.165 in Feb and 364.344 in March 2018. March US soy cake and meal stocks were at 465,159 tons vs. 263,515 in Feb and vs. 492,224 tons a year-ago
