The Egypt's state grain buyer, the General Authority for Supply Commodities (GASC) on Wednesday, February 20, bought 360,000 MT of wheat from France (180 TMT), Romania (60 TMT), Russia (60 TMT) and Ukraine (60 TMT) for April 5-15 delivery:

  • 60,000 MT of Romanian wheat from ADM at 249.45 $/mt c&f (238.16 fob+11.29 freight)
  • 60,000 MT of Russian wheat from ADM at 250.19 $/mt c&f (238.00 fob+12.19 freight)
  • 60,000 MT of Ukrainian wheat from Louis Dreyfus at 250.70 $/mt c&f (237.50 fob+13.20 freight)
  • 60,000 MT of French wheat from Lecureur at 250.90 $/mt c&f (234.50 fob+16.40 freight)
  • 60,000 MT of French wheat from Soufflet at 250.90 $/mt c&f (234.50 fob+16.40 freight)
  • 60,000 MT of French wheat from Soufflet at 252.60 $/mt c&f (234.50 fob+18.10 freight)

So GASC has bought a total 6.13 MMT of wheat (3.85 MMT from Russia, 1.02 MMT from Romania, 480 TMT from Ukraine, 480 TMT from France and 300 TMT from the US) for supply in 2018/19 (July-June)
