The Egypt's state grain buyer, the General Authority for Supply Commodities (GASC) on Tuesday, August 28, bought 350,000 MT of wheat from Russia (290 TMT) and Ukraine (60 TMT) for October 11-20 delivery:

  • 55,000 MT of Russian wheat from Glencore at 239.77 $/mt c&f (221.51 fob+18.26 freight);
  • 55,000 MT of Russian wheat from Glencore at 241.77 $/mt c&f (223.51 fob+18.26 freight);
  • 60,000 MT of Russian wheat from GTCS at 240.73 $/mt c&f (225.5 fob+15.23 freight);
  • 60,000 MT of Russian wheat from GTCS at 241.5 $/mt c&f (225.5 fob+16.0 freight);
  • 60,000 MT of Ukrainian wheat from Louis Dreyfus at 241.4 $/mt c&f (223.5 fob+17.9 freight);
  • 60,000 MT of Russian wheat from Garant Logistics at 242.6 $/mt c&f (225.5 fob+17.1 freight).

So GASC has bought a total 2.385 MMT of wheat (1.665 MMT from Russia, 600 TMT from Romania and 120 TMT from Ukraine) for supply in 2018/19 (July-June)
