Egypt's GASC buys 420,000 T Russian, Romanian wheat Aug. 14, 2018
The Egypt's state grain buyer, the General Authority for Supply Commodities (GASC) on Tuesday, August 14, bought 420,000 MT of wheat from Russia (360 TMT) and Romania (60 TMT):
- for September 21-30 delivery:
- 60,000 MT of Romanian wheat from CHS at 246.33 $/mt c&f (230.99 fob+15.34 freight);
- 60,000 MT of Russian wheat from GTCS at 248.00 $/mt c&f (233.00 fob+15.00 freight);
- 60,000 MT of Russian wheat from GTCS at 248.60 $/mt c&f (232.00 fob+16.60 freight);
- 60,000 MT of Russian wheat from GTCS at 249.60 $/mt c&f (233.00 fob+16.60 freight).
- for October 1-10 delivery:
- 120,000 MT of Russian wheat from GTCS at 250.40 $/mt c&f (233.80 fob+16.60 freight);
- 60,000 MT of Russian wheat from Alegrow at 250.40 $/mt c&f (233.80 fob+16.60 freight).
So GASC has bought a total 2.035 MMT of wheat (1.375 MMT from Russia, 600 TMT from Romania and 60 TMT from Ukraine) for supply in 2018/19 (July-June)
