The Egypt's state grain buyer, the General Authority for Supply Commodities (GASC) on Tuesday, August 14, bought 420,000 MT of wheat from Russia (360 TMT) and Romania (60 TMT):

  • for September 21-30 delivery:
    • 60,000 MT of Romanian wheat from CHS at 246.33 $/mt c&f (230.99 fob+15.34 freight);
    • 60,000 MT of Russian wheat from GTCS at 248.00 $/mt c&f (233.00 fob+15.00 freight);
    • 60,000 MT of Russian wheat from GTCS at 248.60 $/mt c&f (232.00 fob+16.60 freight);
    • 60,000 MT of Russian wheat from GTCS at 249.60 $/mt c&f (233.00 fob+16.60 freight).
  • for October 1-10 delivery:
    • 120,000 MT of Russian wheat from GTCS at 250.40 $/mt c&f (233.80 fob+16.60 freight);
    • 60,000 MT of Russian wheat from Alegrow at 250.40 $/mt c&f (233.80 fob+16.60 freight).

So GASC has bought a total 2.035 MMT of wheat (1.375 MMT from Russia, 600 TMT from Romania and 60 TMT from Ukraine) for supply in 2018/19 (July-June)
