The Egypt's state grain buyer, the General Authority for Supply Commodities (GASC) on Tuesday, January 16, bought 295,000 MT of wheat from Russia for February 18-28 delivery:

  • 55,000 MT of Russian wheat from GTCS at 212.15 $/mt c&f (197.00 fob Tuapse+15.15 freight);
  • 60,000 MT of Russian wheat from AOS/Union at 211.99 $/mt c&f (197.45 fob Novorossiysk+14.54 freight);
  • 60,000 MT of Russian wheat from Garant Logistic at 211.99 $/mt c&f (197.45 fob Novorossiysk+14.54 freight);
  • 60,000 MT of Russian wheat from Daewoo at 211.75 $/mt c&f (198 fob Novorossiysk+13.75 freight);
  • 60,000 MT of Russian wheat from Aston at 211.75 $/mt c&f (198 fob Novorossiysk+13.75 freight)

It was 17-th international tender since the start of the new fiscal year. GASC has bought 4.015 MMT (3.475 MMT from Russia, 300 TMT from Romania, 180 TMT from Ukraine and 60 TMT from France) of wheat on the international market since July 1, the start of the 2017/18
