Egypt's GASC buys 230,000 T Russian wheat Oct. 19, 2017
The Egypt's state grain buyer, the General Authority for Supply Commodities (GASC) on Thursday, October 19, bought 230,000 MT of wheat from Russia for December 1-10 delivery:
- 60,000 MT of Russian wheat from GTCS at 213.35 $/mt c&f (198.75 fob+14.60 freight);
- 55,000 MT of Russian wheat from Union at 213.77 $/mt c&f (198.90 fob+14.87 freight);
- 60,000 MT of Russian wheat from Olam at 213.82 $/mt c&f (198.35 fob+15.47 freight);
- 55,000 MT of Russian wheat from GTCS at 214.65 $/mt c&f (198.75 fob+15.90 freight)
It was 10-th international tender since the start of the new fiscal year. GASC has bought 2.65 MMT (2.17 MMT from Russia, 240 TMT from Romania, 180 TMT from Ukraine and 60 TMT from France) of wheat on the international market since July 1, the start of the 2017/18.
