The Egypt's state grain buyer, the General Authority for Supply Commodities (GASC) on Wednesday, August 16, bought 355,000 MT of wheat from Russia (295 TMT) and Ukraine (60 TMT) for September 20-30 delivery:

  • 60,000 MT of Russian wheat from Louis Dreyfus at 207.40 $/mt c&f (193.80 fob+13.60 freight);
  • 55,000 MT of Russian wheat from Union at 208.25 $/mt c&f (192.20 fob+16.05 freight);
  • 120,000 MT of Russian wheat from Union at 209.35 $/mt c&f (193.80 fob+15.55 freight);
  • 60,000 MT of Russian wheat from ECTP at 209.35 $/mt c&f (193.80 fob+15.55 freight);
  • 60,000 MT of Ukrainian wheat from Louis Dreyfus at 210.23 $/mt c&f (193.80 fob+16.43 freight)

It was 5-th international tender since the start of the new fiscal year. GASC has bought 1.6 MMT (1.18 MMT from Russia, 240 TMT from Romania, 120 TMT from Ukraine and 60 TMT from France) of wheat on the international market since July 1, the start of the 2017/18
