The Egypt's state grain buyer, the General Authority for Supply Commodities (GASC) on Tuesday, July 25, bought 420,000 MT of wheat from Russia (300 TMT), Romania (60 TMT) and Ukraine (60 TMT) for September 1-10 delivery:

  • 60,000 MT of Russian wheat from ADM at 218.35 $/mt c&f (202.35 fob+16 freight);
  • 60,000 MT of Romanian wheat from Cofco at 218.38 $/mt c&f (204.99 fob+13.39 freight);
  • 60,000 MT of Russian wheat from GTCS at 219.03 $/mt c&f (204.65 fob+14.38 freight);
  • 60,000 MT of Russian wheat from AOS at 219.05 $/mt c&f (204.4 fob+14.65 freight);
  • 60,000 MT of Russian wheat from Louis Dreyfus at 219.3 $/mt c&f (204.65 fob+14.65 freight);
  • 60,000 MT of Russian wheat from GTCS at 219.35 $/mt c&f (204.65 fob+14.7 freight);
  • 60,000 MT of Ukrainian wheat from Louis Dreyfus at 220.35 $/mt c&f (203.9 fob+16.45 freight)

It was 4-th international tender since the start of the new fiscal year. GASC has bought 1.245 MMT (885 TMT from Russia, 240 TMT from Romania, 60 TMT from Ukraine and 60 TMT from France) of wheat on the international market since July 1, the start of the 2017/18
