- Mar 16 - Japan seeks 146,455 MT of food wheat for April-June shipments:
- 8,170 MT of western white US wheat;
- 16,550 MT of hard red winter US wheat;
- 59,178 MT of dark northern spring US wheat;
- 62,557 MT of Canadian western red spring wheat
- Mar 14 - South Korea's Nonghyup Feed Inc (NOFI) bought 65,000 MT of optional origin feed wheat at 204.5 $/mt c&f + 1.25 $/mt surcharge for additional port unloading for June 20 arrival
- Mar 13 - Argentina grants export licenses for 137,140 MT of milling wheat
- Mar 14 - China sold 424,193 MT of wheat from state reserves or 16.1% of the of the offered amount (2.638 MMT) at auction at average price of 2,517 RMB/mt (364 $/mt)
- Egypt will limit its use of private sector silos in this year's wheat harvest as part of new regulations aimed at curbing fraud in local procurement

CORN
- Mar 23 - Jordan seeks 100,000 MT of optional origin feed barley for May shipment
- Mar 15 - Taiwan's MFIG seeks up to 65,000 MT of corn from the US, Argentina, Brazil or South Africa for April 18-May 22 shipment
- Mar 14 - USDA announced export sales of 120,000 MT of US corn for delivery to Mexico during 2017/18
- Mar 14 - South Korea's Nonghyup Feed Inc. (NOFI) bought 199,000 MT of optional-origin corn:
- 68,000 MT of corn at 188.93 $/mt c&f + 0.95 $/mt surcharge for additional port unloading for arrival around July 10;
- 65,000 MT of corn at a c&f premium of 1.15 $/bu over the Chicago July corn contract (~190.1 $/mt) c&f + 1.0 $/mt surcharge for additional port unloading for arrival around July 20;

- Mar 14 - South Korea's KOCOPIA bought 60,000 MT of optional-origin corn at 192.75 $/mt c&f including surcharge for additional port unloading for June 10 arrival
- Mar 10 - South Korea’s KFA (Korean Feed Association) in a direct deal bought 65,000 MT of US corn from Itochu at 189.5 $/mt c&f for April 16-May 25 shipment
- Mar 13 - Argentina grants export licenses for 30,000 MT of feed barley
- Dr. Michael Cordonnier raised his forecast of South America’s 2016/17 corn crop this week by 1 MMT to 127.3 MMT (97.2 MMT in 2015/16) due to increase forecast for Argentina by 1 MMT to 37 MMT (27 MMT in 2015/16)
SOYBEAN
- Dr. Michael Cordonnier raised his forecast of South America’s 2016/17 soybean crop this week by 2 MMT to 177.2 MMT (165.5 MMT in 2015/16) due to increase forecasts for Brazil by 1 MMT to 107 MMT (95.5 MMT in 2015/16) and Argentina by 1 MMT to 55 MMT (56 MMT in 2015/16)
- Mar 13 - Argentina grants export licenses for 8,608 MT of sunflower meal and 5,336 MT of sunflower oil
- Malaysia will lower its crude palm export tax to 7.5% in April, down from 8% in March. Malaysia calculated a reference price of 3,174.95 MYR/mt (713.8 $/mt) for April
