GASC has bought 3.625 MMT (1.68 MMT from France, 960 KMT from Romania, 765 KMT from Russia, 55 KMT from USA and 165 KMT from Ukraine) of wheat on the international market since July 1, 2014

- The UN bought 30,000 tons of EU wheat for Djibouti for Feb-March shipment

- Libya made no purchase in an international tender for 50,000 tons of milling wheat because of payment problems due to political turmoil, European traders said on Wednesday. The agency had issued the tender on Jan 14

- Kazakhstan's Ag Min said Kazakhstan exported 3.965 MMT of grain between July 1 – January 30 vs. 5.284 MMT a year ago. Rains, early snow cut Kazakh 2014 grain crop to 17.2 MMT by clean weight (incl. 13 MMT of wheat) from 18.2 MMT in 2013

- Russia Ag Min said Russia has exported about 22.7 MMT of grain between July 1 – Jan 28 up 31% from a year ago (17.3 MMT)

- Russia bought 348,820 tons of intervention grains between Sept 30, 2014 – Feb 4, 2015, including wheat – 143,640 tons, barley – 113,650 tons and rye – 91,530 tons
