- Dec 6 - Jordan bought 50,000 MT of optional origin hard wheat from Ameropa at 205 $/mt c&f for Apr shipment

- Dec 6 - Argentina grants export licenses for 86,379 MT of milling wheat

- Ukraine's Ag Min said Ukraine exported 18.79 MMT of grain between July 1-Dec 6, 2016/17, up by 4.8% from 17.93 MMT a year ago, including: wheat – 10.172 MMT; barley – 3.982 MMT; corn – 4.576 MMT; others – 61 TMT. Also was exported 136,000 MT of wheat flour

- Russia plans in the future to become a leading supplier of wheat to Venezuela

- Dec 7 - Russia bought 21,600 MT of intervention grain (all wheat) via tender on the NTB (National Trade Exchange, Moscow Exchange). Making the total bought since Sep 19 at 862,245 MT of 2016/17 grain (811,350 MT of wheat and 50,895 MT of barley)

- Dec 7 - China auctioned 4,814 MT of 2013 imported wheat from state reserves, or 6.5% of the offered amount (74,292 MT), at an average price of 2,510 RMB/mt (364 $/mt)

- Dec 8 - Israeli group seeks up to 95,000 MT of optional origin corn for Feb-March shipments

- Dec 8 - Israeli group seeks 30,000 MT of optional origin feed barley for Jan-Feb shipments

- Dr. Michael Cordonnier left his forecast of South America's 2016/17 corn crop unchanged this week at 125.3 MMT compared to 97.2 MMT in 2015/16

- India's oilmeal exports fell 9.75% from a year ago to 108,342 MT in November (120,059 MT in Nov 2015). India's export of oilmeals during April-Nov 2016/17 dropped 27% to 662,489 MT compared to 903,624 MT during the same period of last year

- India exported 51,805 MT of soybean meal in November vs. 3,177 MT a month ago and 8,909 MT a year ago. India's Apr-Nov 2016/17 soymeal exports at 68,470 MT vs. 55,889 MT a year ago
