The Egypt's state grain buyer, the General Authority for Supply Commodities (GASC) on Tuesday, November 29, bought 240,000 MT of Russian wheat for January 2-11 delivery:

  • 60,000 MT of Russian wheat from Louis Dreyfus at 202.24 $/mt c&f (188.74 $/mt fob+13.5 $/mt freight);
  • 60,000 MT of Russian wheat from Grainbow at 202.24 $/mt c&f (188.74 $/mt fob+13.5 $/mt freight);
  • 60,000 MT of Russian wheat from Olam at 202.55 $/mt c&f (189.05 $/mt fob+13.5 $/mt freight);
  • 60,000 MT of Russian wheat from Alegrow at 202.96 $/mt c&f (189.46 $/mt fob+13.5 $/mt freight)

It was the 17-th international tender since the start of the new fiscal year. GASC has bought 2.58 MMT (1.86 MMT from Russia, 660 TMT from Romania and 60 TMT from Ukraine) of wheat on the international market since July 1, the start of the 2016/17
