- Nov 15 - Argentina grants export licenses for 18,000 MT of low protein wheat

- Indian government has decided to raise the 2017 local wheat purchasing price by 100 rupees from last season to 1,625 rupees per 100 kilograms (239.6 $/mt)

- Nov 16 - Russia bought 26,325 MT of intervention grain (25,650 MT of wheat and 675 MT of barley) via tender on the NTB (National Trade Exchange, Moscow Exchange). Making the total bought since Sep 19 at 740,340 MT of 2016/17 grain (691,605 MT of wheat and 48,735 MT of barley)

- Kazakhstan's grain stocks as of November 1, 2016 accounted 18.84 MMT, including 15 MMT of wheat thereof 12.875 MMT of milling wheat compared to 17.75 MMT (incl. 14.665 MMT of wheat thereof 12.624 MMT of milling) a year ago

CORN

- Nov 15 - Taiwan's MFIG group bought 65,000 MT of US-origin corn at a premium of 116 USc/bushel c&f over the Chicago May 2017 contract (around 186 USD/mt, c&f) for Feb 23-Mar 29 shipment

- Dr. Michael Cordonnier left his forecast of South America's 2016/17 corn crop unchanged this week at 125.3 MMT compared to 97.2 MMT in 2015/16

SOYBEAN

- Nov 15 - USDA announced export sales of 247,500 MT of US soybeans for delivery during 2016/17:

  • 121,500 MT to China;
  • 126,000 MT to unknown destinations

- Nov 15 - Argentina grants export licenses for 30,662 MT of soymeal

- Dr. Michael Cordonnier cut his forecast of South America's 2016/17 soybean crop this week by 2 MMT to 172.2 MMT (165.5 MMT in 2015/16) due to decrease forecast for Argentina by 2 MMT to 56 MMT (56 MMT in 2015/16)

- NOPA said its members crushed 164.641 million bushels of soybeans during October, which more than expected (160.478 million bu – avg., 158.3-163.118 mln bu – range) and higher than a year earlier. NOPA processors crashed 129.405 mln bu in September and 158.895 mln bu a year ago. Soyoil stocks fell to 1.343 billion lbs as of October 31 from 1.376 a month earlier and below last year's level of 1.408 billion lbs, but above the average expectations of 1.323 billion lbs. Soymeal exports rose to 562,180 tons from 439,605 tons in Sept, but down from 644,069 tons a year ago

- India imported 1.173 MMT of veg oils (edible & non-edible) in October vs. 1.4 MMT in September and vs. 1.671 MMT a year ago. India's Nov-Oct 2015/16 veg oil imports at 14.739 MMT vs. 14.613 MMT a year ago

- India's stock of edible oils as of November 1, 2016 at various ports is estimated at 705,000 MT (CPO 210,000 MT, RBD palmolein 95,000 MT, degummed soybean oil 325,000 MT, crude sunflower oil 55,000 MT and 20,000 MT of rapeseed (canola) oil) and about 1,230,000 MT in pipelines. Total stock at ports and in pipelines decreased to 1.935 MMT from 2.09 MMT a month ago and below last year's 2.37 MMT. India's monthly requirement is about 1.65 MMT
