- Oct 25 - Argentina grants export licenses for 30,500 MT of milling wheat and 21,535 MT of low protein wheat

- Oct 26 - Russia bought 44,820 MT of intervention grain (all wheat) via tender on the NTB (National Trade Exchange, Moscow Exchange). Making the total bought since Sep 19 at 574,830 MT of 2016/17 grain (536,625 MT of wheat and 38,205 MT of barley)

- SovEcon said Russia may increase its grain exports to 4 MMT in November from 3.7 MMT in October and compared to 3 MMT a year ago. Russian grain exports over the July-November period are expected at a record high of 17.9 MMT compared to the 17.05 MMT a year ago

- Russian farmers harvested 75.76 MMT of wheat from 98.1% of the planned area as of Oct 25, up from 63.71 MMT a year ago. Yields totalled 2.79 mt/ha up from 2.51 mt/ha a year ago
