The Egypt's state grain buyer, the General Authority for Supply Commodities (GASC) on Tuesday, October 25, bought 240,000 MT of Romanian and 180,000 MT of Russian wheat for December 1-10 delivery:

  • 120,000 MT of Romanian wheat from Ameropa at 192.18 $/mt c&f (185.93 $/mt fob+6.25 $/mt freight);
  • 60,000 MT of Romanian wheat from Cargill at 192.76 $/mt c&f (183.25 $/mt fob+9.51 $/mt freight);
  • 60,000 MT of Romanian wheat from ADM at 192.90 $/mt c&f (184.25 $/mt fob+8.65 $/mt freight);
  • 60,000 MT of Russian wheat from Aston at 192.90 $/mt c&f (184.00 $/mt fob+8.90 $/mt freight);
  • 60,000 MT of Russian wheat from Louis Dreyfus at 193.04 $/mt c&f (182.74 $/mt fob+10.30 $/mt freight);
  • 60,000 MT of Russian wheat from Alegrow at 194.30 $/mt c&f (184.00 $/mt fob+10.30 $/mt freight)

It was the 14-th international tender since the start of the new fiscal year. GASC has bought 2.04 MMT (1.38 MMT from Russia, 600 TMT from Romania and 60 TMT from Ukraine) of wheat on the international market since July 1, the start of the 2016/17
