Egypt's state-buyer, the General Authority for Supply Commodities (GASC) on Tuesday, August 23, bought 10,000 MT of sunflower oil from ADM at 816 $/mt c&f for October 15-30 arrival, but made no purchase of soybean oil.

Traders said the following offers were submitted to GASC in the first round of the tender, USD/MT, C&F:

  • Glencore
    • 10,000 MT of sunflower oil at 832 $/mt c&f (valid tdy 16hrs)
    • 30,000 MT of soyoil at 846 $/mt c&f (valid tdy 16hrs)
  • Nidera
    • 12,000 MT of sunflower oil at 848 $/mt c&f (valid tdy 16hrs)
    • 30,000 MT of soyoil at 862 $/mt c&f (valid tdy 16hrs)
  • ADM
    • 10,000 MT of sunflower oil at 816 $/mt c&f (valid tdy 16hrs)
    • 15,000 MT of soyoil at 838 $/mt c&f (valid tdy 16hrs)
