The Egypt's state grain buyer, the General Authority for Supply Commodities (GASC) on Thursday, November 20, bought 60 KMT of French wheat for shipment December 21-31 from Soufflet at 259.87 $/t c&f (243.74 $/t fob plus $16.13 freight)

GASC has bought 2.25 MMT (840 KMT from France, 660 KMT from Romania, 585 KMT from Russia, 55 KMT from USA and 110 KMT from Ukraine) of wheat on the international market since July 1, the start of the 2014/15.

Egypt purchased 5.46 MMT of wheat from abroad in the 2013/14 fiscal year in addition to 3.7 MMT of local wheat.
