WHEAT

- Jun 29 - Tunisia seeks 159,000 MT of soft milling wheat and 109,000 MT of durum for late August-November shipment

- Egypt has enough strategic wheat reserves to last until mid-January 2017

- June 28 - China sold 22,070 MT of wheat from state reserves or 0.88% of the of the offered amount (2.513 MMT) at auction; 20,142 MT of mixed wheat at average price of 2,491 RMB/mt (374.6 $/mt) and 1,928 MT of white wheat at average price of 2,280 RMB/mt (342.9 $/mt)

- USDA estimated 62% of the US winter wheat crop good to excellent (G/E) as of June 26, up 1% point from a week earlier and compared to 41% a year-ago, above analysts' forecasts of 61% (61-62% – range). Harvesting of US winter wheat crop was 45% completed as of June 26, ahead of last year's pace of 33% and 5-year mean of 41% and above analysts' forecasts of 42% (37-49% – range)

- USDA estimated 72% spring wheat crop good to excellent as of June 26, down 4% points from prior week and compared to 72% a year-ago, behind analysts' average expectation of 75% (73-78% – range)

- US wheat export inspections for week, ending June 23, recorded 511,701 MT, within the market forecasts (400-600 TMT). Inspections for 2016/17 are running 37.5% ahead of year-ago

- Russian farmers harvested 2.121 MMT of all grains as of June 27, up from 735,200 MT a year ago. Yields totalled 4.36 mt/ha up from 3.98 mt/ha a year ago

- Rosselkhoznadzor estimated Russian grain exports between Jul 1-Jun 27, 2015/16 at 36.71 MMT (incl. 24 MMT of wheat) compared to 36.39 MMT (22.19 MMT) in Jul 1-Jun 30 of 2014/15

- The wheat stock position in India is comfortable as the federal government had 32.64 MMT in the central pool at the beginning of June

- Thailand finally sold 1.11 MMT of rice from state stockpiles in its fourth auction this year, around half of what was initially planned

CORN

- Jun 29 - Tunisia seeks 100,000 MT of optional origin feed barley for Aug 20-Oct 20 shipment

- Jun 28 - China sold 440,664 MT of corn from state reserves, or 36.1% of the offered amount (1.22 MMT); 440,164 MT of domestic corn sold at average price of 1,650 RMB/mt (248.1 $/mt) and 0,500 MT of imported corn sold at average price of 1,700 RMB/mt (255.6 $/mt)

- US corn export inspections for week, ending June 23, reported 1,451,227 MT, topped the market forecasts (0.9-1.2 MMT). Inspections for 2015/16 are running 5.7% behind year-ago

- USDA rated 75% of the US corn crop in good-to-excellent condition as of June 26, unchanged from the previous week and compared to 68% a year-ago, ahead of market expectations of 73% (72-74% - range)

- USDA estimated US sorghum planting 95% complete as of June 26, compared to 91% last year and a 93% five-year average

SOYBEAN

- Jun 27 - USDA announced export sales of 150,000 MT of US soybeans to unknown destinations for delivery during 2015/16 (132,000 MT) and 2016/17 (18,000 MT)

- US soybean export inspections for week, ending June 23, reported 272,066 MT, within the trade forecasts that ranged from 200,000 to 400,000 MT. Inspections for the 2015/16 marketing year are running 7.6% behind year-ago

- USDA rated 72% of the US soybean crop in good to excellent condition, down from 73% the previous week and compared to 63% a year-ago, but in line with analyst expectations of 72% (70-73% – range)

- Indonesia will lower the export tax for crude palm oil to zero in July, down from 3 $/mt in June

- GAPKI estimated Indonesia's May exports of palm oil and palm kernel oil at 1.76 MMT, down 16% from the previous month
