WHEAT

- Russia's Ag Min said Russia exported about 33.587 MMT of grain between July 1-June 22, 2015/16, up by 11.7% from 30.062 MMT a year ago, including:

  • wheat – 24.347 MMT (21.324 MMT a year ago);
  • barley – 4.219 MMT (5.293 MMT);
  • corn – 4.684 MMT (2.96 MMT);
  • others – 337 TMT (484 TMT)

- Russia has 3,266,300 MT of grain in its federal intervention fund as of June 24

- Russia plans to export around 500,000 MT of grain to China in 2016

- Bulgaria may harvest more than 5.0 MMT of wheat this year, up from 4.6 MMT in 2015

- Egypt's Ministry of Supplies on Sunday dismissed allegations that its wheat procurement figures were inflated and promised penalties for domestic suppliers that misreport stocks

- SAGIS estimated South Africa's corn stocks as of May 30 were at 2.821 MMT vs. 2.475 MMT a month ago and 3.329 MMT a year ago

- SAGIS estimated S. Africa's May corn exports at 84,921 MT vs. 71,783 MT in May 2015. May-Apr 2015/16 corn exports was revised to 879,811 MT vs. 2.156 MMT a year ago

- SAGIS estimated S. Africa's May corn imports at 183,950 MT (21,575 MT of white corn from the US and 162,375 MT of yellow corn from Argentina) vs. 33,058 MT in May 2015. May-Apr 2015/16 corn imports was revised to 1.969 MMT vs. 65,250 MT a year ago

- Jun 24 - USDA announced export sales of 411,500 MT of US soybeans to unknown destinations for delivery during 2015/16 (280,500 MT) and 2016/17 (131,000 MT)

- NOPA revised its US May soybean crush estimate slightly down to 152.28 million bushels from 152.82 mln bu previously

- Oil World expects Russian soya meal usage to reach a record 2.9 MMT in Oct-Sept 2015/16, up 1.0 MMT within three years. About 50% will be met with imported soybeans and soya meal

- Oil World estimates Egypt's soya oil imports to reach at least 270 TMT in April-June, thereof from Argentina roughly 230 TMT

- Oil World estimates Egypt's sunflower oil imports to more than double to 190 TMT in April-June, thereof from Russia 109 TMT, Ukraine 46 TMT and Argentina 35 TMT
