The Egypt's state grain buyer, the General Authority for Supply Commodities (GASC) on Wednesday, March 16, bought 120,000 MT of French, 60,000 MT of Romanian and 60,000 MT of Ukrainian wheat for April 15-24 delivery:

  • 60,000 MT of French wheat from Casillo Commodities at 188.27 $/mt c&f (178.87 $/mt fob+9.4 $/mt freight)
  • 60,000 MT of French wheat from Soufflet at 188.50 $/mt c&f (178.3 $/mt fob+10.2 $/mt freight)
  • 60,000 MT of Romanian wheat from Ameropa at 188.77 $/mt c&f (183 $/mt fob+5.77 $/mt freight)
  • 60,000 MT of Ukrainian wheat from Louis Dreyfus at 189.93 $/mt c&f (180.7 $/mt fob+9.23 $/mt freight)

It was the 27-th tender since the start of the new fiscal year. GASC has bought 4.205 MMT (1.885 MMT from Russia, 840 TMT from Romania, 660 TMT from France, 580 TMT from Ukraine, 180 TMT from Argentina and 60 TMT from Poland) of wheat on the international market since July 1, the start of the 2015/16
