- Dec 29 - South Korea's KFA (Korea Feed Association) bought 50,000 MT of South American corn from Pan Ocean at 180.99 $/mt c&f with a 0.75 $/mt surcharge for additional port unloading for June arrival

- Dec 29 - Argentina removed corn export quota

- Dr. Michael Cordonnier left his Brazilian and Argentine 2015/16 corn crop estimates unchanged at 81.2 MMT (85.4 MMT in 2014/15) and 21.6 MMT (25.5 MMT in 2014/15), respectively

- Dr. Michael Cordonnier left his estimate of South America's 2015/16 corn crop at 107.1 MMT unchanged from previous estimate and vs. 115.1 MMT in 2014/15

SOYBEAN

- Dec 29 - Egypt's FIHC cancelled its tender for vegetable oils, citing a lack of offers following new terms that allow the state buyer to delay payments by 180 days. The following offers were made in the tender:

  • Sunflower oil
    • ADM: 15,000 MT of sunflower oil at 857 $/mt c&f for arrival April 1-20
    • ADM: 15,000 MT of sunflower oil at 857 $/mt c&f for arrival May 1-20
  • Soybean oil
    • ADM: 25,000 MT of soybean oil at 764 $/mt c&f for arrival April 1-20
    • ADM: 25,000 MT of soybean oil at 754 $/mt c&f for arrival May 1-20
    • United oil Co.: 10,000 MT of soybean oil at 7070 EGP/mt

- Dr. Michael Cordonnier left his Brazilian and Argentine 2015/16 soybean crop estimates unchanged from last week at 97.0 MMT (96.2 MMT in 2014/15) and 58.0 MMT (60.8 MMT in 2014/15), respectively

- Dr. Michael Cordonnier left his estimate of South America's 2015/16 soybean crop at 170.3 MMT unchanged from previous estimate and vs. 171.5 MMT in 2014/15
