- Dec 23 - Egypt's GASC seeks wheat for Jan 21-31 shipment

- Egypt's GASC says changed wheat payment terms for tender. The letters of credit can now be opened up to 180 days after signing the contract, before that there was no deferred letter of credit. GASC also says will only accept wheat with 0% ergot parasite

- Dec 14 - Morocco's ONICL bought 150,000 MT of local soft wheat to produce subsidised flour

- Dec 23 - Russia bought 47,250 MT of intervention grain (45,360 MT of wheat and 1,890 MT of rye) via tender on the NTB (Moscow Exchange). Making the total bought since Aug 20 at 1,316,250 MT of Russian grain (1,278,720 MT of wheat, 17,010 MT of rye and 20,520 MT of barley)

- Canada exported 1.429 MMT of wheat (without durum) in October vs. 1.504 MMT in September and vs. 1.275 MMT a year ago

- Noble Group Ltd said it has agreed to sell its remaining 49% stake in its agribusiness to China's state-owned COFCO International Ltd, exiting agricultural markets. The $750 million cash deal will hand COFCO full ownership of Noble Agri, which will be renamed COFCO Agri

- French cooperative group Axereal has agreed to buy regional grain handler Agri-Negoce from Swiss trading house Ameropa to increase its reach in its home market. Axereal is one of the biggest players in France. It marketed 10 MMT of grain in the 2014/15 season, including grain sourced from outside its cooperative network

- Dec 29 - South Korea's Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corp seeks 44,639 MT of worldwide non-glutinous rice for March-June arrival. Registration for the tenders will close on Dec 29, and electronic bidding will be held on Dec 30


- Dr. Michael Cordonnier left his Brazilian and Argentine 2015/16 corn crop estimates unchanged at 81.2 MMT (85.4 MMT in 2014/15) and 21.6 MMT (25.5 MMT in 2014/15), respectively
