The Egypt's state grain buyer, the General Authority for Supply Commodities (GASC) bought 180 KMT of French, Russian and Romanian wheat on Tuesday, October 21.

GASC bought wheat for shipment November 21-30:
• 60 KMT of French wheat from Soufflet at 252.67 $/t c&f (234.44 $/t fob + 15.98 $/t freight + 2.25 $/t for shipment from two ports)
• 60 KMT of Russian wheat from Olam at 256.43 $/t c&f (246 $/t fob + 10.43 $/t freight)
• 60 KMT of Romanian wheat from Nidera at 258.62 $/t c&f (246.75 $/t fob + 11.87 $/t freight)
GASC has bought 1.895 MMT (660 KMT from Romania, 585 KMT from Russia, 540 KMT from France, 55 KMT from USA and 55 KMT from Ukraine) of wheat on the international market since July 1, the start of the 2014/15.
Egypt purchased 5.46 MMT of wheat from abroad in the 2013/14 fiscal year in addition to 3.7 MMT of local wheat.
