- Rosario Grains Exchange estimated Argentina's 2015/16 wheat crop at 9.4 MMT vs. previous estimate of 9.3 MMT

- Buenos Aires Grain Exchange maintains its 2015/16 Argentine wheat crop forecast at 9.5 MMT, a 19% decline from 2014/15 (11.75 MMT). Harvesting of Argentine wheat crop was 7.1% completed as of Nov 12, behind of last year's pace of 10.8%

- Ukrainian farmers have planted winter wheat on 5.6 mln ha (90% of plan) as of Nov 12 vs. 6.3 mln ha a year ago

CORN

- Nov 11 - South Korea's NOFI bought 63,000 MT of corn from CHS at 189.9 $/mt c&f for April 1 arrival, but passed on the other corn tender

- Jordan seeks 100,000 MT of optional origin barley for April shipment

- As corn stockpile surges, China aims to curb output to 175 MMT of corn by 2020 from a record 229 MMT forecasted for 2015

- EU in week ended Nov 10 granted licenses to export 38 TMT of corn, bringing the total this season to 589 TMT vs. 958 TMT a year ago

- EU in week ended Nov 10 awarded 250 TMT of corn (maize) import certificates, taking the volume so far this season to 3.583 MMT vs. 2.601 MMT a year ago

  • Nidera:
    • 9,000 MT of sunoil at 849.89 $/mt c&f for arrival Dec 15-30
    • 12,000 MT of sunoil at 844.48 $/mt c&f for arrival Jan 15-Feb 10
    • 18,500 MT of soybean oil at 754 $/mt c&f for arrival Dec 15-30
    • 18,500 MT of soybean oil at 744 $/mt c&f for arrival Jan 15-31

- Ecuador bought 100,000 MT of soymeal from South America and the US

- Buenos Aires Grain Exchange estimated soybean planting 20% done as of Nov 12 vs. 16.8% a year ago. The exchange forecasts country's soybean planting area at 19.8 mln ha this year vs. 20 mln ha in 2014/15
