  • 19,890 MT of Australian standard white

- Nov 11 – Egypt's GASC bought 120,000 MT of wheat for Dec 11-20 shipment:

  • 60 TMT of Russian wheat from Union Co. at 211.77 $/mt c&f (203.78 $/mt fob+7.99 $/mt freight from National Navigation)
  • 60 TMT of French wheat from Glencore at 211.50 $/mt c&f (200 $/mt fob+11.5 $/mt freight from National Navigation)

- Nov 11 - South Korea's NOFI was looking for 65,000 MT of optional-origin feed wheat for April-May

- Rabobank maintains its Australian wheat crop estimate at 23.3 MMT

- Expectations that an easing of economic sanctions against Iran will boost trade, along with skepticism about government forecasts that it will not need to import this season, have led traders to anticipate it could take several million tonnes after a lull in recent months

- Iran says it has stopped importing wheat because of high domestic production and plans to export about 300,000 MT of durum wheat by March 2016

FranceAgriMer raised ending stocks forecasts to 5.18 MMT in 2015/16 (4.77 MMT – previous) vs. 2.52 MMT in 2014/15

- Russian farmers have harvested 107.4 MMT of grain (incl. 63.9 MMT of wheat, 18.3 MMT of barley and 11.9 MMT of corn) as of Nov 11, down from 109.1 MMT (incl. 61.8 MMT of wheat, 21 MMT of barley and 10.3 MMT of corn) a year ago. Yields were at 2.45 mt/ha, down from 2.5 mt/ha a year ago. While 94.9% (or 16.2 mln ha) of winter crops were planted as of Nov 11 vs. 16.6 mln ha year ago

CORN

- Nov 11 - South Korea's KOCOPIA bought 55,000 MT of US corn from Mitsubishi Corp at 194.35 $/mt c&f for arrive at the ports of Incheon and Kunsan by March 5. KOCOPIA was looking for up to 165,000 MT of corn

- Nov 11 - South Korea's NOFI was looking for up to 138,000 MT of optional-origin corn for April-May

- Nov 11 - South Korea's KFA was looking for up to 65,000 MT corn for April arrival

- Strike of Brazilian truckers waned on Wednesday after the government increased fines for blocking roads

- FranceAgriMer forecasts France's 2015/16 corn crop at 12.99 MMT (13.02 MMT – previous estimate) vs. 2014/15 record crop of 17.95 MMT with the carryout projected at 2.34 MMT (2.34 MMT – previous) against 2.96 MMT in 2014/15. France's 2015/16 barley exports (without malt) is forecasted at 6.61 MMT (6.78 MMT – previous) vs. 6.65 MMT year ago

SOYBEAN

- Dorab Mistry said global 2016 palm oil output to grow less than expected due to El Nino. He expects global output to rise 1.5 MMT in 2016, versus a prior forecast of 2.5 MMT

- Hightower expects El Nino will raise demand for soybean oil, which would lead to higher prices

- Ukraine's Ag Min said Ukraine has harvested 10.9 MMT of sunflower seed (from 99% area) with yields of 2.18 mt/ha, a year ago Ukraine harvested 9.7 MMT of sunflower seeds with yields of 1.94 mt/ha

- Ukraine's Ag Min said Ukraine has harvested 3.67 MMT of soybeans (from 97% area) vs. 3.9 MMT a year ago
