The Egypt's state grain buyer, the General Authority for Supply Commodities (GASC) on Thursday, August 27, bought 60,000 MT of Russian wheat for October 1-10 delivery:

  • 60 TMT of Russian wheat from Olam at 190.07 $/t c&f

It was the seventh tender since the start of the new fiscal year. GASC has bought 1.005 MMT (650 TMT from Russia, 180 TMT from Romania and 175 TMT from Ukraine) of wheat on the international market since July 1, the start of the 2015/16.

Egypt purchased 5.055 MMT of wheat from abroad in the 2014/15 fiscal year in addition to 5.3 MMT of local wheat
