- FranceAgriMer said 86% of France's winter barley crops were in good to excellent condition as of July 27 unchanged from previous week and vs. 73% a year ago. Spring barley g/e rating also was unchanged at 64% vs. 63% a year ago. Harvesting of French winter barley was 100% complete, up from 98% a week earlier and above the 99% progress at the same point last year. Harvesting of spring barley was 75% complete vs. 47% a week ago and 59% a year ago

- Ukrainian farmers harvested 28.1 MMT of all grains as of July 31, up from 27.2 MMT a year ago. Yields were at 3.43 mt/ha, the same like a year ago. Farmers harvested 7.0 MMT of barley (86% of area) vs. 7.7 MMT a year ago

- Buenos Aires Grain Exchange estimated sorghum harvest 94.1% done as of July 30 vs. 91.9% a year ago. The exchange expects Argentine 2014/15 sorghum crop at 3.5 MMT vs. 4.3 MMT a year ago

- USDA attaché estimated 2015/16 Australian sorghum crop at 1.8 MMT, which is 300 TMT below USDA official estimate and vs. 1.788 MMT in 2014/15. Exports are expected at 600 TMT in 2015/16 vs. USDA's estimate of 900 TMT and vs. 600 TMT in 2014/15
