- The CWB crop tour showed a potential yield of 38.9 bpa for spring wheat, the smallest in 8 years and down 15% from last year's 45.7 bpa, with durum at 27.8 bpa, down from 40.9 bpa last year, the smallest since 2003. But after the tour, CWB raised its estimate of Western Canadian production of all-wheat to 23.1 MMT from 22.02 MMT previously (27.28 MMT in 2014)

- Russia's Ag Min said the country harvests at least 100 MMT of grain, despite dry weather in some regions

- Kazakhstan's Ag Min said Kazakhstan harvested 784,700 MT as of July 27, up from 521,600 MT a year ago. Yields were at 1.69 mt/ha, up from 1.15 mt/ha a year ago

- Vietnam's Ag Min estimated Jan-July rice exports at 3.72 MMT, down 3.1% from a year ago

- Vietnam Food Association forecasts 2015 rice exports at 5.91 MMT, below the 6.3 MMT forecast by the FAO and down 6.5% from a year ago (6.32 MMT in 2014)
